On the back of the fantastic fundraising efforts for the Grand Appeal in 2016, this year we are choosing a different local cause each quarter to focus our fundraising efforts on.
For the first quarter of 2017 (January – March) we chose to support Oldland Pre-school, a local establishment that provides care and education for children primarily below the statutory school age, within the BS30 postcode.
The school is already close to the hearts of several Gregor staff, whose children or grandchildren have previously attended the school. Having served the community for over 40 years, the nursery is in the process of fundraising for a new building and equipment to create a more stimulating environment, allowing the school to further boost its high quality early-years care and education.
We were really pleased to raise £160 to help support their fundraising efforts.
Pam Adams, Oldland Pre-school Manager said; “A big thank you to all the staff at Gregor for your kind donation. The funds raised will be put towards the development of our top playground into a space where we can teach children about road safety. Every donation can be put to such good use.”
Well done to all our members of staff who have been involved with the fundraising activities held in the office over the first quarter!
