after being nominated by his peers for his commitment and positive attitude, which he puts
down to ‘love of his job’. He has received a £250 tool allowance contribution. Well done Joe!Two more of our apprentices, George Watts and Declan Jeffaries, were also recognised for
completion of their apprenticeships this year, something to be very proud of.Here at Gregor Heating, we have employed many apprentices through our 30 years of trading. Our managing
director, Steve Gregor, began his journey as a plumbing and heating apprentice. He said;“I know the value of being given such an opportunity and apprentices are very much a part
of our company’s success story. Every year I am more and more impressed with the
candidates that come through the door and these awards are very much designed to reflect
that. Well done everyone.”Longwell Green Councillor Toby Savage, who is also Cabinet Member for Schools, Skills &
Employment on South Gloucestershire Council said:“Congratulations to all of the apprentices at Gregor Heating, especially the winner of
Apprentice of the Year, Joe.
South Gloucestershire has the highest rate of apprenticeship uptake per head of population
in our region and clearly Gregor Heating are contributing to this fantastic opportunity for
staff.”It was a fantastic evening celebrating our apprentices successes. Watch the full video of the evening here.
